Noah Lowry mowed down 10 Auburn batters and Miguel Cabrera had 4 hits and 2
RBI at Abner Field as the Sandwich Sharks beat the Auburn Doubledays by the
count of 5 to 1.
 
Lowry(10-3) had a strong outing.  He didn't give up much, just 6 hits and 3
walks in 9 innings.  Sandwich finished with 14 hits in the victory.  
 
Jose Contreras(7-7) was the losing pitcher.  He was knocked around by
Sandwich, allowing 12 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.  Lowry was
humble when questioned about his performance, 'Well, I felt pretty confident
in my pitches tonight.  But, I had great support behind me and I just threw
what was called.  That was an extremely well called game!'
