Jose Contreras(1-2) and Nate Robertson(0-3) treated the Auburn fans to a fine
pitching duel at Abner Field. The Auburn Doubledays eventually emerged as
victors over the Milwaukee Moads by the score of 2 to 0.
Contreras gave a fine effort for Auburn. He went 7 innings allowing 3 hits
and 4 walks lowering his ERA from 3.07 to 2.48. The pitchers took over after
the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.
Bob Wickman earned his 4th save.
