Roger Clemens held Auburn to 2 hits at Yankee Stadium as the Texas Power T
beat the Auburn Doubledays by the count of 4 to 2.
Clemens(1-0) simply dominated Auburn. He allowed just 2 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings. Texas had 7 hits for the afternoon. The losing pitcher was Jamie
Moyer(0-1).
Clemens was obviously very pleased with his performance in the aftermath of
the game, 'It was just one of those games where everything worked. My arm
felt great, heck, I could have pitched another two or three innings. I only
hope that I can do it again next time out!'
